Groomsman
Scott and Carter grew up together playing little league football. Scott and Carter have continued their friendship throughout the years with yeti coolers by the pool, golfing with one another, and football Sundays. Scott's favorite memory of the couple is "Helping them move out of their apartment and witnessing an explosion of anger over a spice cabinet not being emptied."
Bridesmaid
After moving from her college town, Brooklynn was one of the first friends Gracie made in the KC area. Truthfully, Gracie would not know what to do without Brooklynn now. Brooklynn and Gracie often are found with one another singing, dancing, gossiping, playing video games, and, of course, shopping. Brooklynn's favorite memory of the couple is "My favorite memories with the bride and groom have to be our countless crochet Wednesdays. Getting to spend quality time every week with Carter and Gracie will always be my favorite. We all get to be our silly goofy selves while relaxing and doing something we love."
Groomsman
Carter and Ross's destinies began early on with their two fathers, who are also best friends. Ross and Carter grew up playing little league football (yes, with Scott!) and little league baseball. They developed their relationship young, but continue to grow the relationship through working out and Sunday football (and gambling). Ross's favorite memory is "Viper football and pool days over at the Lipari’s home."
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Gracie met in college on the cheer team (with Olivia)! Taylor, Olivia, and Gracie were bonded at the hip and truthfully were inseparable. Taylor and Gracie lived with one another during their time at Drury and developed their relationship through wine, movies, and music. Taylor was a beautiful mix of chaos and calm, was not afraid to speak the truth, and encouraged Gracie to be who she was despite the world around her. Taylor's favorite memory of the couple is "when you FINALLY got together! Taylor fully shipped Carter and Gracie way before it happened and was so relieved when it did!!"
Groomsman
Trevor and Carter first met in the 5th grade, where they became friends and grew their relationship throughout the years. Carter and Trevor always enjoyed playing basketball in the yard, video games at each other houses, and shooting pool. Trevor's favorite memory with the couple is "Our spring break trip to Colorado. One night Carter and I cooked the biggest ribeyes we could find for everyone and played the original Star Wars Battlefront 2. Although we didn’t get to see as much nature as we wanted to because of all the snow, it is still a trip I will always remember."
Bridesmaid
Olivia and Gracie met in college on the cheer team and their relationship took off. Olivia, Taylor, and Gracie were bonded at the hip and did everything together. Olivia was the calm, nurturing friend who agreed to do anything and everything, documenting the chaos that emerged. From crying tears to tequila time, Olivia is one of the most nurturing and selfless souls, who also cracks the best jokes at times when it's needed, which Gracie holds close to her heart always. Olivia's favorite memory of the couple is "getting to see you go from stunt partners to life partners!"
Groomsman
Carter's older brother, Conner, has been Carter's built-in best friend. Conner was always the one who encouraged Carter to try new things even if he thought they were scary. Carter always learned that he didn't need to be afraid thanks to Conner. Carter's favorite memories of Conner are during all the newness, skiing in the mountains, and exploring new trails, along with all the quiet times of fishing. Gracie's favorite memory of Conner was watching him search for seashells in pitch black with a headlamp when she was too afraid to step into the water.
Bridesmaid
Marki is Carter's older sister who welcomed Gracie in with open arms. Marki taught Carter how to be creative and to never be afraid of who you are, inside and out. Marki and Gracie developed their relationship through Carter and in turn, Gracie gained another sister. Gracie and Marki have always watched movies, TV Shows, and Trash reality TV with one another while eating their favorite snacks (and drinks). Marki has never been afraid to be herself and encourages everyone around her to do the same. Marki's favorite memory is "Gracie and I binge-watching all the movies that were based on novels; Hunger Games, divergent, etc." Similarly, Carter's favorite memory is watching Goosebumps and being forced to watch Barbie in her room as a kid.
Groomsman
Ben is Carter's fraternity brother who became his "son," and in turn his best friend. Carter first met Ben at a fraternity event when he did a backflip on asphalt and Carter recruited him to not only the fraternity but the cheer team. Ben has been a light in the couple's lives since. Ben's favorite memory is " living with Carter during the summer of 2021 in U-Suites on campus and our spring break beach trip in 2023."
Bridesmaid
Faith is Gracie's younger sister, and she learns more and more every day how similar they are. Gracie has always looked up to Faith and loved watching her grow into the woman she has become. Faith and Gracie have bonded over typical "life" events, like boys and high school drama. But Gracie has always admired her sister's love for music, and watching her perform in the theater and at concerts! Faith's favorite memory of the couple is "When gracie and Carter come home for the holidays. Watching Gracie and Dad bicker over silly topics while Carter is in the living room watching football (which Dad only puts on because Carter loves watching it, oh, and Doug and Poppy."
