Bridget and Carson met during their sophomore year at Indiana University in January 2015 at a frat party! Carson’s fraternity was hosting Bridget’s sorority for a bid week party to welcome the new pledges. Bridget was a sober monitor that night and was hanging out in Carson’s room with his frat brothers and saw him sick on the couch, so she took care of him. They walked to a Village Pantry (corner store), bought chicken noodle soup, and spent the rest of the night talking and watching The Office. Two weeks later Bridget went to Carson’s frat formal on Valentine’s Day at The Wit, where they fell in love. After graduation in 2017, Carson moved to Chicago, and Bridget moved to Germany for 15 months. They did long distance and only saw each other twice, when she came home for Christmas and when he came to visit the following July for their birthdays. The distance was hard, but their relationship was worth it, and it made their moments together all the more meaningful. Bridget moved back to Chicago in October 2018 and they were reunited. In April 2020, they bought a condo in Chicago and moved in together.

After 7 years of dating, they returned to The Wit on April 30th of 2022, where Carson proposed to Bridget on the rooftop balcony, where they first fell in love. They shared a moment together before being surprised and congratulated by their friends and family.

Bridget and Carson have a passion for traveling and adventure. They have been to 9 countries together, and their honeymoon in New Zealand in 2024 will be 10! Their shared love of traveling made it easy to decide to have a destination wedding. One of their favorite things to do when traveling is to experience the culture through local eats, and San Miguel is known for their gastronomy scene. They are so excited to celebrate their love and marriage with the people who mean the most to them!
