Wedding Party

Sarah Pierce

Bride

Carson Krefft

Groom

Emma Schaper

Matron of Honor

I have known Emma the longest of my friends, way back in 2002, here life was forever changed as she was no longer the only child. We definitely had our sibling moments of stealing each others clothes and bickering, but as we got older, that sibling energy grew into a friendship. I am so grateful to have her be my Matron of Honor!

Andrew Crane

Best Man

Throughout our long and notorious friendship, being a hand full for teachers together, having "one too many" after football games, or a quick look when crazy statements are made in public, I've given Crane many nicknames: Brad, Chad, Clark... I think "best man" fits the most.

Kate Breja

Bridesmaid

I met Kate in AAU basketball back in 6th grade, and we have been friends ever since. We survived the clicky high school days, and transitioned to the college days. Our weekly check in became Line Dancing Club on Wednesday nights. I am so thankful that we also transitioned to the young adult part of our chapter, and I can't wait to see where it will go from here.

Joshua Searles

Groomsman

Josh and I began our friendship when he brought me on to help run his online gaming forum for military veterans, where I met others in that group. Ever since then we've had many long chats and great times together.

Elizabeth Tranel

Bridesmaid

I met Elizabeth at St. Thomas Aquinas in Ames sophomore year. At SEEK (a Catholic young adult conference) that year, I ended up hanging out with her and some other girls that I kind of knew from around church. By the end of the week, we were best friends, and the rest is history. I know I can always turn to Elizabeth for advice and a smile, and I am so thankful for that friendship.

Brendan Benton

Groomsman

Brendan and I met online playing video games together, and a group of us from that platform have been inseparable ever since, online or in person. Once you meet Brendan, you'll never forget him--truly a special guy.

Kristina Goth

Bridesmaid

I had the pleasure of being awkward college freshman with Kristina in my small group at St. Thomas Aquinas. Thankfully, we grew out of that phase, and as we did, our friendship grew as well. I can now talk to Kristina for hours (Carson can attest), and I am so thankful for how our friendship has grown.

Cody Jarvis

Groomsman

I met Cody through that online group of fellas. Cody is the most loving and giving friend a guy could ever ask for. I'm truly blessed to have him in my life!

Heidi Zamzow

Bridesmaid

I met Heidi my junior year of college when she came to Iowa State as a Focus Missionary. How lucky was I to get placed with her as my discipleship leader. We grew to be friends through our countless talks and little adventures around Ames. I am so excited for her to be with me on my wedding day.

Andrew Formanek

Groomsman

Drew and I always joke that we were "switched at birth," as we were born one day apart and spent the hospital overnight in adjacent rooms! Needless to say, we're cut from the same cloth.

Grace Timmerman

Bridesmaid

I met Grace in college during small group, little did I know I would soon reach out about being roommates my junior year. That year was full of morning chats and faith filled discussions about life. We became fast friends, and have never looked back!

Brock Thornton

Groomsman

Brock was an instrumental part of my faith journey while playing college football together, and I'm now happy to call him one of my best friends.
