What should I wear?

Answer

Wisconsin in August will be really hot and may or may not rain. The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest wearing light summery clothing and if it seems cloudy don't forget an umbrella!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Due to traditional Catholic rules, photography of any kind will not be allowed during the ceremony. Please be respectful of this and take your photos before or after. We will be taking family photos after the ceremony at St. Jerome's.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 1:30. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to ensure you get a seat. Reception cocktail hour starts at 5 pm. There will not be any food or drink before 5!

Is the ceremony / reception outdoors?

Answer

Both are indoors with access to outdoors, weather permitting!

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

St. Jerome's provides plenty of parking for the ceremony. At Oconomowoc Lake Club, there will be some parking for guests from the area. Spots may be limited so we suggest taking the shuttle service from one of our recommended hotels. For those staying at any of the hotels, we will be providing shuttle transportation throughout the evening to the reception. Uber and Lyft are also readily available in this area.
