we met in ninth grade geometry class (thanks Mr. Bungert). Andrew heard Kylee's laugh from across the room and that was pretty much it for him. we grew as friends throughout the rest of the year and texted throughout the summer. before school started the next year, we decided to go to the MN state fair on a very hot day in late august - still as "just friends" but we both secretly thought of it as a date. Kylee wore a cutoff t-shirt and Andrew wore a horizontal striped red and blue shirt, but we still made it to today. a few weeks later, after hanging out more and more (shoutout to parents and siblings for driving us between houses), we became official most of our time was spent learning as much about each other as we could with a show playing in the background, ordering pizza, and doing homework as we transitioned from two kids with crushes on each other to inseparable life partners braces-teethed Andrew and ironed-straightened haired Kylee didn't really know what they were getting into, but now, 12 years later, we're getting married surrounded by our favorite people
