Do I have to pay the park entrance fee?

Answer

Our wedding will be held inside Catalina State Park! The park charges an entry fee for all vehicles - $10 for a single person vehicle and $20 for vehicles with 2 or more passengers.

So...where is this wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at the Bobcat Amphitheater in Catalina State Park, and then we will move the Gila Monster Group Campsite for the reception, just a short drive or a lovely walk down the Bride Trail from the Amphitheater.

Where do I stay?

Answer

You can camp with us (available Friday - Sunday), get a hotel, or choose your own adventure!

I'm camping, what can I expect?

Answer

This is a come-as-you-are, do-what-you-like kind of event. For those camping, we will not have any formal activities planned, so we encourage you to use this time and space as a vacation for yourself. There are plenty of lovely hikes inside Catalina State Park and the greater Tuscon area for you to enjoy. Or you can check out one of our recommendations on the "Things To Do" page! Or go and have your own adventure! Have fun! You do you! The brides may be occupied throughout the weekend, but we should be in and out of the campsite. We are hoping to get some quality time with friends and family at the campsite in the evening around the fire :)

I’m camping! What do I need to bring?

Answer

In addition to bringing your own food and sleeping quarters (tent etc.), you'll also need anything you personally require to feel comfortable. We recommend warm clothes for the evening and night as it may get cold. A nice camping chair and a lantern are also highly recommended!

What will I eat?

Answer

Dinner and drinks will be provided at the ceremony on November 14th. All other meals will be at your own discretion. Tucson is considered a UNESCO food city so we highly recommend checking out some of the amazing restaurants in the area.

So… just how outside is this?

Answer

It’s VERY outside! Our ceremony will be held at a beautiful amphitheater with shaded benches. The reception following will also be outside at our group campsite, where many folks including the brides will be staying for the weekend. Shade will be available. Following the ceremony we will move to our reception location which has many picnic tables available for seating underneath a Ramada. You are also welcome to bring your own chair if you prefer.
