Question
Where should we stay?
Answer
Lodging is already booked for Sunday and Monday nights courtesy of Dean and Carrie to help ease your travel plans. Everyone will be at Glacier Park Lodge, or the Travelers Rest Lodge in East Glacier. PLEASE CONTACT CARRIE ASAP IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL. Check in is at 3pm and check out at 11. You can hold baggage at the Lodge or at our suite at GPL.

What abour attire and other items to bring?
Answer
All of the events will be casual. We are dressing up for the wedding, come as you like. If you want to hike, make sure you have good shoes and a daypack. Bring a jacket as it is cool in the evenings as we are in the mountains. Sunscreen is a must for the Montana's blue skies. It will be a full moon. The stars will be amazing. They don't call it Big Sky for nothing!

Is alcohol available?
Answer
Soft drinks, tea and coffee provided at all events. Beer and wine provided at the wedding. Other beverages are available at the lodge.

What about pets?

Glacier Park Lodge/Travelers Rest Lodge do not allow pets. We love your pets and ask that you kindly do not bring them to the events.

What do I need to see Glacier National Park?
Answer
VEHICLE PASSES You will need a vehicle pass to drive into Glacier National Park. The reservations open March 1 for the month of JULY. PLEASE make reservations for where and when you want to enter the park. Go to Recreation.gov (vehicle registration). You will need separate day passes for Many Glacier, Two Medicine. We are working on a shuttle for July 17, but if you are driving, please secure a vehicle pass for this day. In the morning sometime is great. You can also sign up for a 3 consecutive days for Going to the Sun Road pass. PARK PERMITS You will need permits in addition to the Vehicle registration for going into the park. Permits are per vehicle (up to 15 people) $35 per week or single entry per person is $20. Go to Recreation.gov (site passes). (we don't know what is needed yet for July 17, let us know if you get a seven day pass that covers this time.) GOING TO THE SUN FREE SHUTTLES There are free shuttle for Going to the Sun road. It is worth it. It takes most of the day with a bit of hiking at least at Logan pass. There are also for fee Red Bus Tours from the East side and Many Glacier Lodge. Sun Tours also offers tours. CAMPING RESERVATIONS Camping in the park is all reserved, so you might get a day of reservation. Sites are limited to up to a limited number of 35'. We will be at the Heart of Glacier RV Park/Cabins at St Mary’s Tuesday - Saturday after the wedding. Come join us. This is a perfect place close to the park.
