Edgar and I first met at St. John's University in the most serendipitous way. I was at Starbucks on campus filming a project, and he came over to ask about my camera. We chatted briefly, and then we went our separate ways. The next semester, we ended up in the same class, and I was immediately struck by how beautifully Edgar edited his video project. It was clear that he had a special talent, and I secretly hoped we’d be in another class together soon. Imagine my delight when, sure enough, the next semester rolled around and we were in the same film class again! I took a chance and asked him if he’d like to be my partner for the class project. From that moment on, everything fell into place. We went from being project partners to the best of friends, and before long, we were inseparable. The funny thing is, Edgar and I were watching my old video projects back and we saw that he was IN the background of my first project video from the first day we met! How wild is that? It felt like God’s timing was weaving us together in such an effortless and intentional way. Our journey from classmates to soulmates has been nothing short of magical, and we're so excited to spend the rest of our lives growing and learning from each other. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
