Answer

Cocktail attire please. However, we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that tie is too tight, let it all hang loose. Se requiere traje formal. Pero la idea es pasarla bien, así que está absolutamente permitido aflojarse la corbata y las sandalias.

What is the weather like in March? / ¿Cómo es el tiempo en marzo?

March is one of the best months to visit Uruguay. While it's still summer, the city is just waking up from summer vacation - lots of locals and few tourists give you a chance for an authentic experience. March may be the tail end of summer but the days are hot. Always make sure that no matter how hot the day is you pack a sweater for the cool coastal evenings. Marzo es uno de los mejores meses para visitar Uruguay. Si bien es todavía verano, muchos locales y pocos turistas dan la oportunidad para tener una auténtica experiencia. Marzo ya marca el final del verano, pero los días todavía son calurosos. Sin embargo, asegúrense de tener un abrigo a mano para las noches, cuando baja la temperatura.

For those who are traveling from abroad, we will provide a shuttle to and from the ceremony. Please let us know if you'd like to use this service by sending us an email to carolinvalen@hotmail.com. If you live in the area or wish to drive, there is ample parking on site. IMPORTANT - Uruguay has strict zero tolerance for drinking and driving. Please make sure you make arrangements if you plan to drink. We recommend using Uber - it's cheap and easily available. IMPORTANTE: Uruguay tiene tolerancia cero de alcohol en conductores. En caso de tomar alcohol recomendamos contratar el servicio de Uber, es barato y fácil de encontrar.
