Formal/Black Tie Optional. As the wording here suggests, this dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. If opting for a suit, however, a formal dark suit, white shirt, and a conservative tie are acceptable. For women, the outfit choices remain the same: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. The bridesmaids will be in black satin dresses. If you have any questions about your dress choice, please reach out to the bride.
We listed some recommendations under the 'Travel' tab for places to stay. If you cannot find a place to stay in Blanco, you should look at the nearby towns of Dripping Springs, Spring Branch, and Johnson City!
The venue is on our family ranch. You may walk on uneven ground to get to the reception and ceremony. Sturdy footwear is a good option!
If your invitation explicitly includes a plus one, please do! We’d love to see both you and your date. Plus ones will be listed in your official invite.
The ceremony will be outside, so bring a jacket if the weather is cold! The ceremony will be short and sweet. Then the rest of the wedding will take place indoors.
We are still planning and will have the 'Schedule' page updated for you as the event gets closer.
As with any dress code, guests should avoid wearing white or any lighter-hued ensemble. Additionally, anything casual, like summery sundresses, polos, t-shirts, pastel colors, flats, or sneakers should be avoided.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
