Question

The hotel blocks are for two nights, are there any events on the 30th?

Answer

There are no events on the 30th. Feel free to only book the night of the 31st for the hotel rooms! We just wanted to give anyone the option of an additional night if they were getting into town earlier.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your kids, but you deserve a night out! The reception will be an adults only event, we appreciate your understanding. Kids are welcome at brunch!

Is there a shuttle to and from any of the hotels?

Answer

All of the hotels we have blocks at are an easy walk to and from the Waterview Loft. If you have trouble walking or the weather turns sour there will be plenty of taxis and ubers available. The Marriott and Courtyard hotels are an almost entirely covered/indoor walk from the venue.

When is the ceremony?

Answer

We got married on July 11th in an intimate ceremony with our immediate families. It was perfect for us, and we're excited to celebrate with all of our family and friends now! This event will be a reception only.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Suits, Dresses, or Cocktail Attire welcome. Feel free to add sparkle and flare to make it extra festive. Bow ties encouraged!

Is there parking at the venue?

There is a pay garage adjacent to Waterview Loft, the Central Garage.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel blocks at the Marriott Ren Cen, the Courtyard Marriott Detroit, and the Fort Pontchartrain. These are all a 10-minute walk or less from Waterview loft and booking links are available in the Travel section of this website!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please fill out the relevant sections in your RSVP and reach out to Jamie with any allergy-related concerns/questions.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will be listed under your name in the RSVP tab. Thank you for understanding!

We kindly ask that you RSVP by October 31st

Will there be an after party?

Answer

The reception will be running until 1am, so there will be no organized after party. Please feel free to get into any shenanigans after 1am, but we are not responsible for your actions.
