Cocktail attire, please. We want you to feel fancy but also as comfortable as you need! The ceremony is OUTDOORS so please make sure to prepare for inclement weather.
As a convenience for our guests, we have arranged transportation to and from the Hildene Estate. Please look for “Dufour” yellow school buses outside your hotel. Be sure to get on the bus marked “Hildene”. There will be 2 buses, please find the schedule below. Busses will drop our guests off at the front of the Hildene Mansion. Bus One 4:30 Barnstead (on the street) 4:35 The Palmer 4:40 Hampton Inn (in the circle) Bus Two 4:30 Brittany (on road) 4:35 The Weathervane 4:40 Equinox (in the back, garden area) 4:55 Taconic Returning from the Hildene: Beginning at 8:30 pm buses will be available to take you back to your hotel. Please go to the Welcome Center area to meet the buses. The last bus will leave the Hildene at 11:30 pm. Driving Yourself? You can park your car in the hildene welcome center parking lot and leave it overnight until the next day. (No Ubers available)
Yes. The Ceremony and Reception are both at the Hildene, Lincoln Family Home. You can park in the visitor parking lot in front of the welcome center. DO NOT drive straight up to the mansion. You are not that fancy. There will be golf carts for those that need assistance up the hill to the ceremony.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Yes! Your dinner is made to order on the day and you can note allergies/meal edits to your server.
