Where is the wedding?

The wedding is at the Butterfly Field in Woodford, VA, about 18 miles south of downtown Fredericksburg. The address is 5902 Jefferson Davis Highway, Woodford, VA, 22580.

Is everything going to be outside?

Answer

YES! Both ceremony & reception will be outside! So please dress accordingly!

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress so you will be cool and comfortable! (As much as is possible in June in Virginia!) Please wear shoes that will allow for easy walking on stone and brick pathways and in a wooden gazebo! :) Suits are not required.

What will the temperature be like?

Answer

The average temperature in the middle of June in this area is 86*! We hope by the late afternoon, there will be some relief from the heat, however, please dress accordingly! :)

What COVID mitigation measures will be taken?

Answer

ALL Virginia state COVID guidelines in place on June 12th will be followed, including mask guidelines. Please check back for updates on those (ever changing!) guidelines as we approach the big day!

Do I need to leave extra time for traffic when traveling?

Answer

YES!!!!! South of Washington during the summer, particularly around Fredericksburg, you will encounter lengthy delays- especially on I-95 South! If you are coming from out of town on Saturday, we encourage you to allow an additional time cushion of 1.5-2 hours in the event of significant delays.
