Traveling to Coronado: Flying in? San Diego Airport is your best bet - just a breezy 15-minute drive into Coronado Island. Yes, California traffic can be kind. Sometimes. Turning this into your West Coast vacation? Flying into LAX is another option and may have better prices for our coast-to-coast crowd (we see you). Please be forewarned that the LA to San Diego drive may come with traffic even worse than getting out of Brooklyn! There is also a beautiful train from pretty much anywhere on the coast down to San Diego with ocean views so good you may never step foot on NJ Transit again!
