FAQs

Question

How do I get to Coronado Island?

Answer

The trip is easier than it seems! For our incredible out-of-town guests, fly into San Diego Airport (SAN) and catch an uber (or rental car) across the Coronado Bridge to get to the Island. The drive from the airport is about 15 minutes! You can also fly into LAX (or any California airport) and take the scenic train down the coast into downtown San Diego. From downtown San Diego, same rules apply - you can drive onto the Island or hop on the ferry to the Coronado Ferry Landing.

Question

How do I get around once I arrive in Coronado?

Answer

Coronado Island is delightfully walkable, especially if you are staying in one of our recommended hotels. From your hotel, nearly all restaurants and shops (and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where we will be having our ceremony) are within a 10-minute walk. Many Island tourists will rent a golf cart at Coronado Golf Cart Rentals to easily bop around! For those who want to explore San Diego, or anything else outside of the Island, a rental car is a convenient way to get around.

Question

Will there be transportation to and/or from the Coronado Golf Course ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have a couple golf carts shuttling guests from Sacred Heart Catholic Church to the Coronado Golf Course after the ceremony, however, you are also free to walk over to the golf course (the walk is about 15 minutes). We appreciate your patience if you are waiting for the golf carts, as they will be shuffling small groups at once. After the ceremony, the golf carts will return to shuttle groups back to their hotels!

Question

What do we do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For the hour in between the ceremony and the reception, you are welcome to head down to the Coronado Golf Course early, as the golf course bar is open to the public. You can take a leisure walk through the town on the way to the golf course, grab a drink, snap some pics, and enjoy the bay views before cocktail hour. If needed, you will also have enough time to run back to your hotel to freshen up before cocktail hour!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please respond before September 10, 2026.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope it will feel like a special weekend getaway for all of our guests.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered both on Crate & Barrel and on Zola directly through our wedding website.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of street parking around Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and plenty of parking in the Coronado Golf Course parking lot (cars can also be left there overnight if needed).
