You can go around the area by the livery with an hourly rental or you can do the hour and a half to two hour (3.7 miles) Argo to Gallup trip, and then they will drive you back to the start! There's also tube rental for just going down the "cascades" which is a fun series of slides landscaped into the river
Dozens of great farmers and vendors sharing produce, bakery, coffee, and handmade goods. It's right by lots of cute little shops and the famous Zingerman's Deli, which is a tourism staple and local favorite of Ann Arbor. Its around the corner from the Hands-On Museum where the Friday night gathering is.
Great breakfast diner near downtown Ann Arbor. Very close to the Argo Canoe Livery.
Spring fed lake for swimming, sort of feels like a best kept secret. There's a little beach and a small out house/ changing room. You'd need to drive there. Great place to cool off after blueberry picking!
Saturday morning thrift store sale is legendary. We love to find reused things for the house and they have the nicest volunteers supporting the club. It's pretty close to the hotel blocks, but maybe a 15 min drive from downtown Ann Arbor.
We love this place for doughnuts, its very close to our home in Ypsilanti!
A staple of our weekend is stopping by for the Saturday morning bialle egg sandwich and coffee! Fantastic breads and bakeries. A fun place to stop and then walk around downtown Ypsilanti! There's a farmers market in 'Depot Town' which is a nice short walk through the park away from Bird Dog.
Premium coffee roastery vibes, they do the great coffee! There's a location in Ann Arbor Downtown as well. This one is the original one in Ypsilanti.
Ypsilanti breakfast staple, with lots of WWII memorabilia nodding at Ypsilanti's role in producing the B24 Bombers (Rosie the Riveter was in Ypsilanti, working at the Willow Run Bomber Plant.)
