The best option for people further than driving distance is to fly into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). Rideshare apps are available for the 30-45 minute drive to downtown Ann Arbor. The "Michigan Flyer" bus is also an option from the airport, the schedule can be found here: https://www.michiganflyer.com/schedule-route
Yes! Children are welcome to party and play on this special day. We'll have some kid-friendly activities and the venue affords plenty of space for children to create their own fun.
No, the Friday evening event is at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum in the Kerrytown neighborhood of downtown. We recommend parking at the Parking Structure on Ann Street between Main St. and Ashley St., use a ride share app, or take the bus to the AAATA Central Station, and 4 blocks away. Sunday's brunch is at the Leslie Science & Nature Center in a neighborhood about 1 mile north of downtown on Plymouth Rd. There is parking available onsite, and a bus route that accesses drops off very close to the Nature Center.
Very easy! You can drive out to Fruitg (7650 Scio Church Rd, Ann Arbor) park, and drive home after the party. There will be staff to direct you on where to park. You can also leave your car overnight if you want to take the shuttle back to the hotels or downtown Ann Arbor and get your car on Sunday.
Yes!! It will be easy to get a ride using Lyft/Uber to Frutig if you're staying in Ann Arbor or at the hotels. It's about a 10-minute ride from the hotels and 15-minute ride from downtown. *It may be harder to rely on a rideshare at the end of the night. You are welcome to take a Lyft/Uber to Frutig and take the shuttle back.
Yes! There will be a shuttle on a loop to take guests from Wyhdham Garden Hotel, Hampton Inn, and Webers Hotel to Frutig Farms and back to the hotels. You are welcome to come use the shuttle even if you aren't staying at the hotels. The shuttle will pick up first from Wyndham, then Hampton Inn, then Webers. All three hotels are right next to each other, but each pick up will take a few minutes, so allow slight buffers from the pick-up time. It's a 10-minute drive out to Frutig from the hotels' location. The shuttle hotel shuttle will run between 2:30pm and 11:30pm, and at the end of the night (10pm-11:30pm) there will be a shuttle option to go to downtown Ann Arbor as well for guests that are staying downtown or intend to continue the celebration.
Please indicate your restriction when you RSVP and we will accommodate.
Summer Cocktail: Wear what feels fun and comfortable for you! It will be a summery garden party with elements of the event outdoors and indoors. A majority of the event will be on grass, so please be mindful of your shoe selection. *We really aren't concerned about what you choose to wear. Weather can vary greatly (ie: HOT), and we'd prefer you to prioritize your comfort over any sort of aesthetic. The venue has indoor (w/ ac)/outdoor spaces, and we'll make use of different spaces depending on the weather.
We recommend arriving between 3pm and 3:45pm. We'll have a casual pre-ceremony bar open with drinks to give folks a bit of buffer to socialize, have a cold drink, and find a seat. The ceremony will begin at 4pm. More information about the schedule of the Saturday event is available in the schedule section of the wedding website.
