Although we are not providing transportation to the area, we will have shuttles available to pick guests up from the church, take to the reception venue, and back again after the party is over. These shuttles are free to guests and can accommodate small children if necessary. Please let us know if you will need a carseat for your little one. Keep in mind transportation to and from Denver will not be provided.
The church for our ceremony has a very small lot, so it would be best if all guests park in the large public lot at the entrance of Central City. Address: 355 Nevada St Central City, CO. This lot is a short walk from the church, and all cars can be safely left here for anyone planning on taking the shuttle to the reception venue.
We would love to see our guests in semi-formal attire (midi or maxi length dresses for women, button down and pants for men). Bold prints and fun colors are welcomed, just keep in mind modesty for our Catholic ceremony. Colorado is warm during the summer, so wear something you'll be comfortable to dance in all night long!
Drink LOTS of water. Altitude can be difficult to adjust to if you are not prepared, so drinking water in the days leading up to the wedding is extremely helpful. In addition, cans of oxygen can be purchased for those who may have trouble breathing. Pro-tip, pack a dramamine or 2 if you've never visited a city of higher altitude before!
Yes, our church welcomes everyone, and can be very accommodating to people who have never attended before. We would love for you to join us at church, and the party afterward!
