We met via the mobile dating app, Tinder! Caroline had moved to St. Louis in 2013 to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Washington University, while Rob had moved to St. Louis in 2014 to complete his medical residency in Radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. It wasn't until January of 2016 that our paths crossed through GPS signaling on our phones. Though neither of us are from St. Louis, it's where we met and have started our life together, so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Our first date was complete with craft cocktails that arrived on fire and Rob walking Caroline home at the end of the night to meet Winston. Our second date ended the night at the local dance and karaoke bar, Talayna's. On our third date, we stayed up the entire night talking and watched the sun rise together. It was clear that we had found something special. From then until now, we have enjoyed traveling together, cooking together, running together, scuba diving together, and caring for Winston together. No matter what the occasion, everything just seems better...together! Last summer we got engaged at the end of a run in front of the statue of St. Louis in Forest Park. We will be leaving St. Louis at the end of June, so figured we'd go out with a bang before moving to pursue our next steps. Starting in July, Caroline will be completing a predoctoral internship in clinical psychology in Washington DC, while Rob will be serving active duty military service as a radiologist in Virginia. We are so excited to celebrate with friends and family in the city where we fell in love before we go.
