What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding is cocktail attire (bonus points for tie dye). We will be on the top of a mountain and access to some locations could be tricky in heels, so wear/bring flats (Tevas encouraged). It might get chilly up on the mountain as the sun goes down, so we recommend bringing an outer layer!

Yes! This is a family friendly fest.

How do we get around?

Answer

Staunton is a lovely little town and most things should be in walking distance. The Blackburn Inn is a 0.6 mile (uphill) walk to the church. There is a parking lot at the church for those who would like to drive.

How should I get to the reception?

Answer

The reception is at the top of the Shenandoah Valley off the Blue Ridge Parkway. You are welcome to drive and park in 12 Ridges lot, but be prepared for a 45-minute ride filled with twists and turns. Taking advantage of the buses we are providing will allow you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful views. Buses will depart The Blackburn Inn at 2:45 pm.
