Chelsea and Caroline met the summer of 2008 while working at SuperCamp in San Marcos, CA. They bonded over a shared passion of making the world better for the next generation. By the end of that summer, the two were inseparable. They travel to see each other as much as possible whether from DC to San Diego, SF to LA, Maryland to LA, or soon Maryland to Colorado. Chelsea is a train mechanic with four spunky fur friends. She loves roller derby, where she used to referee for a team for which her lovely soon-to-be wife, Jaeda, used to compete. Chelsea has a huge heart and Caroline feels lucky to always have her by her side through all the phases in life.
Sarah Will
Maid of Honor
When they were born, Sarah and Caroline's older siblings were close friends, so the two like to say they'e been friends since birth. Sarah and Caroline went to elementary school and high school together. They both attended the George Washington University, both took a semester off, both transferred to colleges in Southern California, and then lived two minutes away from each other in Northern California. Caroline misses Sarah enormously now that they have the greatest mileage between them they have ever had. Sarah and Caroline have been true sisters from the start from strapping on pillows and sumo wrestling in the kitchen, to mud baths in the backyard, to their "Drop Dead Fred" obsession, to many travels, and many more to come. Sarah is one of the most genuine humans you will ever meet.
Jenelle Stirn

Jenelle is Caroline's sister-in-law (Andrew's wife). Caroline feels very lucky to have Jenelle as a sister. She is K.A. in the marketing world. Jenelle is strong, intelligent, caring, compassionate, loving and genuine. Caroline could not ask for more in a sister and loves growing closer to her with every year that passes.
Imani McElroy

Imani and Caroline met in 9th grade but really bonded in Chemistry class as lab partners. The two have not stopped laughing since. While they only went to school together for two years, the two remain deeply bonded. No matter how much time or distance passes, they always pick up where they left off. Caroline has been overwhelmed with pride of her dear friend as she has passionately pursued a career in surgery at Boston Mass Gen.
Jenna Wilkinson

Jenna and Caroline met in 9th grade but did not really become true friends until they started going to school together in 11th grade! The two grew to be like sisters. They went everywhere together. There were very few nights where the two were not having sleepovers and sneaking out of the house to get Wendy's Frosties. After high school, they traveled to LA together and Jenna traveled to see Caroline during their freshmen year of college. Jenna recently married her best friend, Wyatt, and they just moved from Portland, Oregon to Denver, Colorado. Jenna is another timeless, true friend where no matter how much time passes, the two pick right up where they left off. She is beautiful inside and out, ambitious (and as a result, successful!), genuine, and truly pure of heart.
Emily Jackson

Emily is Nick's (soon to be Caroline's) sister in law. Emily and Caroline have become real sisters over the course of the time that Caroline and Nick have lived in Maryland. Caroline truly values her relationship with Emily. Many hours of conversations in GIFs and shared laughs have brighten her days during these pandemic times. Emily has a heart of gold. She is an inspiration in how she gives back to her community by helping autistic persons become more independent. She goes above and beyond for all in her life. Caroline admires her values, strength, and kind heart greatly.
Lynn Lee

Lynn and Caroline met as college freshmen roommates at GWU. The two originally bonded over their unfortunate living circumstances and other two crazy roommates. Over the next two years, they became quite close-- always supporting each other and lifting each other up. They even joined the same sorority-- Pi Beta Phi. Lynn has had an exciting career as a data analyst. She soon will leave DC as she makes a career shift from government into the private sector. Caroline is so proud of her strength and the way she pursues her dreams! Lynn, sadly, will not be able to join us for the big day but we will be thinking of her!
Chris Jackson
Best Man
Chris Jackson is Nick's taller but younger brother by 2 years. Growing up, Nick and Chris were always thought to be twins, even though they are two years apart. Nick could not be more proud of all that Chris has accomplished in his life thus far. Currently Chris works as a cop while flying Black hawk helicopters on the weekend and training while in the National Guard. Chris is also married to his lovely wife (my sister-in-law) Emily Jackson. Don't let Chris's serious demeanor fool you. He can put on quite the show with his karaoke cover of Sweet Caroline. Nick is excited to be back on the east coast so that he can reconnect after being so far from home for so many years.
Chris Carter

Chris Carter used to work with Nick Jackson at Sledgehammer Games. Chris Carter is also one of Nick's closest backpacking buddies. They have gone on a few adventures over the years like The Lost Coast trail, a group trip to Bear Lake in Tahoe and a grueling 40 mile trip through Yosemite. Chris is also an avid rock climber and loves spending time in the outdoors. Nick has really enjoyed getting to know Chris better while working at Sledgehammer Games and hopes to go on many more backpacking trips in the future.
Andrew Stirn

Andrew is Caroline's older brother (Janelle Stirn's husband). Andrew Stirn is currently working to get his P.H.D. in computer science and is one of the smartest guys Nick knows. He also has two awesome cats named Chloe and Leo in their apartment in New York City. Nick is very proud to have Andrew as one of his groomsmen and cannot wait to soon call him brother.
Jeremy Minor

Jeremy Minor used to work at Sledgehammer Games with Nick Jackson. They have been on many backpacking adventures together and spent many hours playing video games into the early hours of the morning. Jeremy is an extremely talented artist, hardworking and never afraid to spend extra time on a project to improve it's visual quality. Currently, Jeremy is working in LA at Respawn Entertainment, on some of the best games in the industry. Nick is proud to have been able to work alongside Jeremy and learn so much from him over the years.
Kaelin Hinnant

Kaelin Hinnant used to work at Sledgehammer Games with Nick Jackson. Over the few years of working together, Nick and Kaelin have become good friends and spent a lot of time gaming or grabbing drinks. He is an extremely talented artist and it has been a pleasure working with him on the Call of Duty franchise. Currently Kaelin is working at Respawn Entertainment in LA, on some of the best games in the industry. Kaelin is a huge Star Wars fan and can pull off an impressive Kylo Ren (or an unexpected Flo from Progressive).
David Henchey

David Henchey and Nick Jackson used to work at Sledgehammer Games together. David is an extremely talented artist working at Respawn Entertainment in LA. He is also married to his wife Valerie Henchey and is a father of two. David also enjoys smoking the occasional cigar while drinking a nice glass of scotch. Nick has learned a lot from David whether it is negotiating with employers or planning a well diversified investment portfolio. David is a friendly, loyal, hardworking and dedicated individual to his family and work.
