Things To Do

Baltimore is a having a crime wave. During the day, you should have no issues, but at night time please exercise caution. In some areas, there is actually an 11PM curfew. If you are wanting to go to a bar in the evenings, please go to your hotel bar to be cautious. We understand that there is a strong likelihood you many want to limit your activities due to the pandemic. Regardless, here are some of our favorite places and areas to walk around. You can also google kayaking or tubing rental places to enjoy a day away from others. The waterways are filled with beautiful birdsongs, beavers, turtles, and more!

Fells Point

Baltimore, MD

This neighborhood is fun to walk around. On Saturday mornings, you will find a farmers market that also sells craft brews and liquors. The area is full of quirky and fun shops as well as many eateries. Great for grabbing a bite or a drink by the water. You can take a water taxi to and from there to explore different parts of the harbor. Edgar Allen Poe was a frequenter to the bars in this area. The area was established as a place for ships to land, crew members to get off and drink ale, and then head back aboard when they heard their boat call. There are some fun tours. One of the ones we enjoyed was a the Ghost Tour.
