Take a drive through Tunnel View and see the entire Yosemite Valley in one picturesque scene. This is a photo Caroline took at Dusk when she and Nash saw tunnel view for the first time.

Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias

Plan a morning or all day trip to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and see some of the oldest and most beautiful trees I have ever laid my eyes on. Two of its trees are among the 30 largest sequoias in the world, one being the Grizzly Giant. Enjoy a leisurely hike through the grove with friends and family on your trip to Yosemite.

Tuolumne Meadows

If you’re looking to go on a bigger adventure and even extend your stay, making time to experience Tuolumne Meadows is definitely worth it. Sitting at 8,619 ft elevation, Tuolumne Meadows can best be described as heaven on earth. A lush, gentle alpine valley nestled in a cathedral mountain range. Tuolumne is one of the largest high elevation meadows in the Sierra Nevada. At the time of year we will be going for the wedding, you get the last beautiful bloom of wild flowers that only grow at high altitudes. It’s something special. The heart of the northern Yosemite region.

Lower Yosemite Fall Trailhead

Lower Yosemite Fall Trailhead

Lower Yosemite Fall Trail, Yosemite Valley, CA 95389

Yosemite falls is the tallest waterfall in North America and fifth tallest in the world. The lower Yosemite Falls trail accommodates a short and easy walk to the views of both upper and lower Yosemite Falls. The total trail is 1.2 miles.

Star Gazing

Star Gazing

This was something Nash and I did every single night we stayed in Yosemite. Every night we would go out around 10:00pm to the meadow right outside of Curry Village in Yosemite yalley, and lay on the ground and just watch the sky. We would watch the stars for hours. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen in your life. This is one of our biggest and most simple recommendations for you on your trip to Yosemite.

Yosemite Valley Day Hikes

Yosemite Valley Day Hikes

Here is a list of beautiful day hikes in Yosemite Valley. They are labeled and ranked with difficulty levels, so we would recommend definitely doing a little research on the hike you might be interested in taking. AllTrails.com is another good resource for hiking information… sometimes (iykyk) Always feel free to reach out to either Nash or Caroline if you have any questions about going on a day hike in Yosemite National Park!
