One word. COWBOY. Bring out your best pair of boots, your finest belt buckles and cowboy hats to celebrate the night before Nash and Caroline tie the knot. Cowboy/cowgirl dressy casual.
Formal attire. Definitely prepare to be outdoors and dress comfortably. I’d love to see you in your brightest colors or anything floral. Colors colors colors! You know the vibes.
Our wedding ceremony will be at the Glacier Point Amphitheater (see the photo at the top of the FAQ’s page for a sneak peak)
Absolutely not! We would love for you to be with us on some of our favorite adventures in the park, but if anything scheduled is out of your ability for whatever reason we completely understand. There are options on each of our planned group excursions to do a small portion of each activity and turn/go back to your lodging to rest, OR be able to explore other parts of the park. We can’t wait to be outside with you!
For any wedding event try to arrive at least 30 minutes early. People often forget to consider slower driving due to windy roads, traffic, road/tree construction/delays, wait times at the gates, parking lots becoming full by 8:30am. On these drives to and from wedding events/excursions you are going to want to take your time and really enjoy the beauty around you, and Nash and Caroline want you to be able to do so. Please allow ample time for more of a leisurely ride through the parks because there are often reduced speeds to protect the wild life and pedestrians. The park also fills up super fast early in the day and there is usually traffic so please be mindful of leaving early. - Make sure everyone downloads our wedding permit to their phones, so they can show the entrance gate (everyone will receive a copy of our wedding permit once it is acquired). - Carpooling is always best.
Unfortunately, we are on a tight budget and have limited space for our micro wedding’s guest list. Plus ones are by invitation only and we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding.
While we love your sweet kiddos, our wedding is adults only. Thank you so much for understanding.
