Mule Alley
Mule Alley is a relatively newly renovated area of the stockyards. They have turned the old mule barns into shops and restaurants. This is the area directly outside of the venue!
Stockyards Championship Rodeo
June 5th and 6th at 7:30 PM you can wander across Exchange Ave in the stockyards to the Fort Worth Championship rodeo! Nothing quite like a rodeo when you're in Texas!
Riscky's BAR-B-Q
Since 1927, Riscky's has been serving up the BEST Texas BBQ.
Billy Bob's Texas
Billy Bobs is the largest Honky Tonk in the world! They also boast a pretty impressive country concert series! If you want to break in your boots, or just have a beer, Billy Bob's is a must!
Cattle Drive
Every day at 11:30 AM and 4 PM, the Wild West comes to life with a longhorn cattle drive down East Exchange! A very reasonable walk (even in heels!) from the venue, and can even be seen from the upper levels of the Drover!
White Elephant Saloon
Great spot for cocktails, pool, and live music!
Fort Worth Stockyards Stables and Horseback Riding
When in Rome, right? You can take a horseback tour out of the Stockyards and down the Trinity River with Stockyards Stables. They have horses and guides for all ages and skill levels.
Fort Worth Stockyards- Mechanical Bull
Try your hand at bull riding! Just across from Mule Alley and a stones throw from the venue is a mechanical bull, available for anyone to try!

Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge
DOWNTOWN. While this spot is not in the Stockyards, its about a 10 minute drive into Sundance Square in Downtown Fort Worth! Silverleaf is near and dear to my heart, as I worked there for a couple years before enlisting in the Marine Corps. Many of the people I met at Silverleaf influenced my decision to join, so if you're in the mood for a smoke, a cocktail and a stimulating conversation, Silverleaf is your spot!
Thompson's Bookstore Speakeasy
DOWNTOWN. Like Silverleaf, Thompson's is NOT in the stockyards, but if you find yourself venturing into downtown for an evening out, this bookstore-speakeasy is a must! Upstairs is a quaint bookstore bar. When you pay for your drinks, you'll see a password at the bottom of your tab, let the bouncer know the password and he'll take you THROUGH THE BOOKSHELF downstairs to the speakeasy! If you'd prefer, head upstairs to the new cigar lounge.
Scat Jazz Lounge
DOWNTOWN. Scat is also downtown, NOT in the stockyards. If you find yourself feeling jazzy, you can follow the neon signs to the elevator behind the dumpster (yes, you heard me!) Take the elevator down for live jazz music and craft cocktails!
