No. We love your little ones very much, but due to the capacity constraints of our venue, no children under the age of 16 (This includes infants) will be permitted at the ceremony or reception. It's also our hope that our friends who are moms and dads can take the day, let their hair down, and have some fun!
NO! We are having an unplugged ceremony. Please, please, please, do not be the person who has your phone up in the air in all of our professional photos. We have hired a photographer to take photos, so you can sit back and be present during the ceremony, without your phone. This applies to family, friends, and the bridal party. No phones during the ceremony. You are welcome to take photos during the reception and use our hashtag, #McHaleYeah, to share!
The dress code is formal. Ball gowns and suits are welcome, however we recognize it is June in Texas, so cocktail dress is also acceptable. Feel free to wear boots with your suit or rock your cowboy hats! Please do NOT wear shorts, t-shirts, ball caps, flip flops, or blue jeans.
Are Mike and I both Marines....? Yes, there will be an open bar.
There will be valet parking available at the Hotel Drover entrance for wedding guests. There is additional Stockyards parking nearby, and metered street parking. Individual hotels will also have their own parking available for guests.
Guests who are allocated a plus one will see "and guest" printed on their invitations. Otherwise, the names of invitees are specified on each invitation. Obviously we would love to give all of our guests a plus one, but venue capacity places restraints on our ability to do so. If you believe there has been a mistake, or a spouse or long term partner has been left off the invitation, please reach out to myself or Mike!
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to help us avoid any delays! If you arrive early, you're welcome to grab a cocktail at one of the 4 bars on site while you wait!
It is June in Texas, Temperatures could range from 72 degrees (22C) to 94 degrees (34C), but more than likely it will be closer to that 94 degree mark. Only the ceremony (approx 30 min) will be outdoors.
Yes, we are hosting a full reception with dinner and dessert! Please include your dinner choice with your RSVP!

Nope! the ceremony and reception sites are both located at the Hotel Drover! No transportation necessary: after the ceremony just stand up, grab a cocktail, and let the fun begin! The after party will also just be feet from the venue. If you opt to stay at Hotel Drover, you'll never have to leave!
Just let us know in your RSVP and the venue staff will accommodate!
