FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire will be formal— we can't wait to see y'all get fancy! Ladies, think floor length dresses or dressy midi dresses. Gentlemen, look spiffy! Take the opportunity to pull out a nice suit or even a tux—no jeans please. Also, the ceremony will be on outdoors on grass so plan shoes accordingly. Additionally, please bring a warm layer since it may be a bit chilly!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We are happy to have you bring your kids! If are bringing a little one who might cry during the ceremony, we ask that you please sit on the end and step away with them if they get fussy and need comfort.

Question

If we aren't staying at the Samoset, is there parking?

Answer

Yes, the resort has ample parking for guests staying there or at other hotels near by.

Question

Is there transportation to the Samoset if we aren’t staying there?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to and from the Samoset so please plan accordingly if not staying on the property. There are not many Ubers but please reach out for local cab companies if you need!

Question

If I’m a vegetarian, is there another dinner option for me?

Answer

YES please text Caroline @ 207-975-0334. As only a handful of guests are vegetarian or vegan, the chef will make a vegetarian dish with seasonal veggies. Please also share any dietary restrictions in the text!
