Yes! We kindly ask that you bring your mask with you. Mask-wearing is REQUIRED during the church ceremonies and in indoor settings. Masks are not required during dinner, but they are otherwise encouraged in outdoor settings and required in crowded outdoor settings. Children aged 5 years and under and elderly guests who have difficulty wearing masks for extended periods of time are not required to wear masks. We will be providing masks for those who don't have one.
Yes, we will be providing hand sanitizer. We kindly ask that all attendees wash their hands on an as-needed basis for 20 seconds, while humming the “Bridal Chorus” (“Here Comes the Bride)!”
Yes! According to Virginia and Massachusetts law and the rules of each church, the wedding ceremonies may occur provided that individuals attending them MUST be seated at least 6 feet apart AT ALL TIMES and MUST practice physical distancing AT ALL TIMES. Minimizing risk and keeping out of harm’s way is critical for the safety of elderly or immunocompromised attendees and loved ones. While we require indoor social distancing, we also encourage outdoor social distancing of six feet whenever possible.
No! If you are NOT feeling well (runny/stuffy nose, fever, loss of taste or sense of smell, dry cough, chills, sore throat, body aches, exhaustion, etc.) OR if you have been around anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19 or even around someone that possibly has COVID-19, please do not physically attend the ceremonies or reception and please STAY HOME and catch the livestream. We promise we will celebrate with you another time! The health and safety our friends and family is so very important! Thank you!!
We ask that our guests continue to comply with CDC and WHO guidelines pertaining to COVID-19. Please socially distance, wash your hands, and wear your mask as much as possible in the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding. That means minimizing risk of transmission whenever possible and limiting any unnecessary contact. Please skip crowded outdoor happy hours, indoor dining, and non-essential trips to the store. That way, we can all feel confident that we have lessened our chances of contracting and spreading the virus at the wedding and to our loved ones not in attendance.
All food stations will be chef-served. There are no self-serve stations and no sharing of utensils. Weather-permitting, the reception will be outdoors, and tables will be spaced out 6+ feet apart whenever possible.
