When and how do I RSVP?

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite at our venue and we cannot accommodate plus-ones for everyone. If you are a special case where we have allowed you a plus one, we have listed their name or "Guest" on your invitation.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
While we adore your children, our venue does not have the room for your little ones. Due to a limited number of guests, children are only invited if named on the invitation. We thank you for understanding.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We will not be offering transportation. The venue is located in downtown Fayetteville (beside Pies and Pints) and is within walking distance to many Airbnbs. Click on the "Travel" page on this website to see our recommendations for places to stay.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, our venue has a parking lot. The ceremony and reception are at the same location.

What is on the menu for dinner?
Answer
The catering team at The Gaines Estate is preparing a delicious dinner for us. We will have Garden Salad, House-Made Dinner Rolls, Smoked Brisket, Carolina Pulled Pork, Macaroni and Cheese, Green Beans, and Coleslaw.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes- please let us know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Our caterer is at the venue and can make any accommodations that we need.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
We are expecting 60-70s and hopefully sunshine. Our ceremony is outside (weather dependent), and our reception is inside. West Virginia weather can be unpredictable, so we suggest looking at the forecast closer to the wedding.
