When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by July 1st to allow us sufficient time to finalize all arrangements and ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

Yes, we are registered at Amazon, Crate & Barrel, and Williams Sonoma. For your convenience, direct links to each registry are available on our wedding website.

What is the address of the ceremony venue?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church: 21 S 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are requested to arrive by 2:30 PM. The ceremony will commence promptly at 3:00 PM. Timely arrival is appreciated to avoid any disruptions.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, this will be an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that guests refrain from using phones, cameras, or any recording devices during the ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and to ensure professional photographs are not obstructed.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. For women, gowns or elegant cocktail dresses are appropriate. For men, suits and ties are recommended. Please refrain from wearing white or any shades resembling white, as these are reserved for the bride.

Only those expressly invited with a plus-one on their invitation may bring a guest. Thank you for understanding.

Answer

Yes. We have provided a list of recommended hotels on our wedding website. All options are conveniently located within walking distance of the ceremony and reception venues.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Please indicate any allergies or dietary requirements when you RSVP, so we may coordinate with our caterers accordingly.

Is parking available at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Street parking and nearby garages are accessible at both venues. However, we encourage guests staying locally to walk or use rideshare services.

Is transportation provided between the hotels and venues?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided as all recommended hotels and venues are within comfortable walking distance.

Are there additional events surrounding the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Please see below for details: Welcome Drinks: Thursday, August 21 at 8:30 PM (details on the website) Saturday Meetup: Independence Beer Garden, Saturday, August 23 starting at 12:00 PM. The celebration will continue on Saturday following the gathering at Independence Beer Garden. While plans are open-ended, please know that the bride and groom will be present and eager to spend time with guests as the day unfolds.

Is there a break between the ceremony and reception? What should I do during that time?

Answer

Yes, there will be a two-hour break between the conclusion of the ceremony and the start of the cocktail hour. The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM and is expected to conclude around 4:00 PM. The cocktail hour and reception will begin promptly at 6:00 PM at Ballroom at the Ben. During this interval, guests are encouraged to explore the vibrant neighborhood, relax at their hotels, or enjoy light refreshments nearby. Please be assured that a generous selection of food and beverages will be served during the cocktail hour and reception, so we recommend using the break to relax and refresh in preparation for the evening’s festivities.

Will there be an after-party?

Answer

Yes, the festivities will continue immediately following the reception in the same venue, Ballroom at the Ben, from 11:00 PM until 1:00 AM. We warmly invite you to join us for the after-party which will include more music, more food and more drinks! The bride and groom look forward to spending time with guests as the evening unfolds.
