We're Getting Married!

Our story began on our very first day of college at Indiana University in 2014. While Carson may have been initially more interested in the freebies than getting to know me, we quickly bonded over those first few days at school and knew there was something worth exploring. We were lucky to create lasting memories together during our four years at IU that included late night food runs, plenty of date nights and Friday afternoons well spent with our friends at Kilroy's (our favorite bar!). After graduation, we moved to opposite coasts (NYC & LA) and spent a year navigating long-distance while building our careers. Finally, we closed the distance-just in time for COVID to throw life into chaos again. Despite these less-than-ideal circumstances, we constantly prioritized our relationship, knowing we had something special that could last a lifetime. In 2022, Carson and I had the opportunity to relocate to Arkansas for both of our careers. While we were hesitant at first, we were excited to finally be living in the same state again! Lucky for us, we have found ourselves fully assimilated to Arkansas life and have been able to grow closer to each other, while meeting the best of friends. 9.5 years after first meeting, Carson proposed on a snowy Arkansas weekend in January 2024. He got down on one knee at what I thought was supposed to be a double date and surprised me with an intimate engagement party at our apartment with our parents and close friends. The day and weekend were absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. After many years and even more memories created together, we are so excited to begin married life. We are so looking forward to celebrating with our favorite people on August 22nd!!
