What impact does COVID-19 have on your wedding plans?

Answer

Currently North Carolina is in Phase 2 of recovery. What this means is that only 25 people can gather in an outside venue and only 10 people can gather inside. The state has currently extended this phase until September 11. We will continue to monitor this and update you all as we get more information. Either way, rain or shine, big or small, we plan to move forward with our wedding as scheduled; it may just look a little different than we originally planned. Stay tuned.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we call it "Country Club Beach Casual". This includes dresses, jumpers, etc. for women and jackets or no jackets for the men...ties optional

Are my kids welcome?

Answer

We are very limited on the number of guests, so we appreciate you making arrangements to leave your kids at home. Only children of the wedding party will be attending.

May I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list which is all predicated on the size of the house and current NC state COVID regulations. Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #booOBXbob2020! so that we can keep track of all of your pictures! Oh, and please don't post any unforgiving ones.

Please refer to the website provided under the travel and accommodations tab, and just know that the wedding is on so long as the island remains open.
