Question

What time should we arrive at the Cathedral?

Answer

The ceremony at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist begins at 11:00 AM. Guests should plan to arrive early and be seated by 10:30–10:45 AM to allow time for traffic, a wrong turn, or parking. We want to ensure everyone is able to attend and enjoy the full experience!

Question

Is there parking at the Cathedral?

Answer

The Cathedral has a medium-sized parking lot attached to the church. If the lot fills up, there is additional street parking and a public parking deck about a 5-minute walk away. Please plan accordingly to avoid any stress on the morning of the ceremony.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress in your finest attire! Women are encouraged to embrace Charleston charm with sun hats and fascinators, while men should opt for classic, elegant formalwear. This is a celebration, so feel free to bring your Southern-style flair!

Question

What weather should we expect?

Answer

May in Charleston is generally warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to mid-80s. Light layers, sun protection, and comfortable shoes for walking are recommended.

Question

Where should we stay in Charleston?

Answer

We’ve selected a couple of hotels that combine convenience, elegance, and comfort. Guests are welcome to stay at these hotels or choose any other accommodations that suit their preferences. Early booking is recommended due to high demand in May.
