10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Our hearts are full knowing this day begins with Christ at the center — a celebration of His blessings and the joy of sharing it all with those we love most at St. John the Baptist Cathedral.
A place that holds deep meaning for the Holladay family, as it’s where Caroline’s parents once said their “I do’s.” Ladies, think flowing pastel dresses, delicate florals, and your favorite Charleston hat — a graceful nod to Southern style. Gentlemen, light linen or cotton dress shirts and tailored trousers will keep you cool beneath the May sunshine while complementing the Cathedral’s timeless beauty. Parking is available on-site. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony, as doors will close promptly once the service begins.
12:30 pm - 5:00 pm
This Neo-Classical home, locally known as the Admiral’s House, was built in 1905 for the commandant of the Charleston Navy Base. Officially called Quarters A, the house boasts features that are indicative of its residents’ high rank. Just 23 minutes from the Cathedral, its grand porches, sweeping oaks, and elegant gardens create the perfect backdrop to rejoice, relax, and soak in the joy of the day. Here, we’ll gather for cocktails and conversation before our grand entrance, followed by an early dinner beneath the trees. We hope you take time to wander through the house and grounds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
