Our favorite local breakfast spot for artisanal pastries and coffee!
OstrichLand USA is a one-of-a-kind roadside attraction nestled between Solvang and Buellton in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Spread across 32 acres, this fun ranch is home to over 100 giant birds—ostriches and emus!
Los Olivos is a picture-perfect country town nestled in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. Spend a leisurely afternoon strolling through its quaint downtown, where you’ll find boutique wine tasting rooms, unique shops, and gourmet bites around every corner.
Solvang is a storybook Danish village known for its windmills, half-timbered architecture, and old-world charm. Take a stroll through town to enjoy cozy bakeries (must try the aableskivers!), boutique shopping, wine tasting rooms, and a little European magic right in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Cold Spring Tavern is a one-of-a-kind slice of Old West charm tucked in the wooded San Marcos Pass between Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez. Originally a stagecoach stop dating back to the 1860s, this rustic roadhouse has been family-run since 1941 and still feels like stepping into a living history exhibit. We recommend stopping for lunch on your way into the valley and indulging in the tri-tip sandwich!
If you are staying on property, The Alisal Ranch offers a true California countryside escape with activities for everyone—from horseback riding and fishing on the private lake to golf, spa treatments, pickleball, and scenic hikes. It’s the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of the Santa Ynez Valley.
