What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal with a Western twist! Please wear classic evening wear with a Solvang flair — suits, gowns, and elevated cocktail dresses are all welcome. Cowboy hats, boots, and bolo ties are encouraged (and celebrated!). We will be on grass and gravel, so if you choose to wear heels please keep that in mind. All events will be outdoors!

What’s the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Late May in Solvang is typically warm and sunny, with daytime highs in the mid-70s to low 80s and cooler evenings in the low 50s. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for after sunset. It’s one of the most beautiful times of year in the valley!

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of newborns. However, children are more than welcome to join us for the welcome party and farewell brunch!
