This is our favorite local brewery with a great selection of ABM beers and ciders. And the pizza truck offers some of the very best pizza we have had.

Boone’s newest brewery on King Street downtown. This location offers a full restaurant and liquor bar in addition to our amazing craft beer. Featuring plenty of outdoor seating (including tables on the main street, plus an expansive back patio and two-story deck), this will quickly become your new favorite spot for sipping beer in the fresh mountain air of the high country. We are family and dog friendly (outside only) and look forward to sharing our space with you soon!
The Horton Hotel
A small hotel in the heart of Boone with a beautiful rooftop bar. The bar features handcrafted cocktails under the stars.

A local coffee roastery with donuts made daily from a 1930's recipe. The Lion also features Caroline's favorite latte, the Queen Anne's Lace.

Best sticky buns ever! All homemade on site in this to-go bakery.

An amazing breakfast spot in downtown Boone with the most delicious offerings made with locally-sourced items. One of the crowd favorites is the stuffed French toast. The casual atmosphere and mismatched mugs add to the charm. Plan to go early or have to wait!

This restaurant has something for everyone! Great for lunch or dinner with reasonable prices. The pimento cheese is homemade!
Beacon Heights Overlook Trail
This is one of our favorite hikes. Relatively short and easy with beautiful views at the top.

Hebron Falls via Boone Fork Trail
Hike begins in Price Park. Easy trail through beautiful meadows, forests, and streams. Hike becomes moderate as you reach the last part of the trail leading to a beautiful waterfall.
Greenway Trail
For folks staying in town, this trail provides a fully accessible trail that is either paved or gravel surfaced. You will see a covered bridge, a historic ruin, meadows, streams, and, if you are lucky, deer!
Grandfather Mountain State Park
Home of the Mile High Swinging Bridge and stunning views. Are you brave enough to cross this mile high bridge?
Original Mast General Store
This historic landmark, in the heart of the state’s first rural historic district, has featured quality goods and traditional clothing since 1883. The community’s post office is still in the corner of the store and a cup of coffee is just 5¢ (on the honor system).
