Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club

We have a room block at the Washington Duke Hotel for $269/night for a standard room (1 king or 2 doubles). We strongly encourage guests to stay here. Being on Duke’s campus, it is the most proximate to the Duke Chapel. Shuttle buses will pick up and drop off hotel guests for the weekend’s events from this hotel. **UPDATE TO THE ABOVE AS OF 7/30** - our room block at the Washington Duke is currently full. Please reach out to us on email (jackoheller@gmail.com) if you'd like to book a room at the Washington Duke. We are trying to add rooms to the block to enable all guests to access the lower rate.

Getting to Durham

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is ~20 minutes from Durham and has numerous direct flights from different US cities (in addition to London). If driving from the north, I-95 connects to I-85 South directly into the city. From the south, Durham is easily reachable via I-85 North which connects to I-40 East.

For Friday’s welcome party, Uber / ride sharing is easily available in Durham. For Saturday, Shuttles will pick up guests at the Washington Duke Hotel for the short ride to the Duke Chapel at 2:30pm. After the ceremony, shuttles will take guests from the Duke Chapel to the reception (approximately 25-30 minute ride). After the reception, there will be an “early” shuttle taking guests directly back to the Washington Duke. At the end of the reception, one shuttle will depart to the afterparty and another back to the Washington Duke.
