Matron of Honor
Susanna and I have been close since summer 2014. What jump-started our friendship was a trip to Emerald Pointe (waterpark), and take-out Chinese food on the way home. Since then, we have talked, prayed, and walked together through many seasons of life. In the summer of 2015, I had the great honor of being Susanna's wing-woman as she and her now-husband began to date. While I spent three months living out of the country in the fall of 2017, Susanna kept up with me almost every day. God has been so kind to give me Susanna's sweet friendship!
Best Man
We met while appealing parking tickets. We both were denied, but what we gained that day was worth more than the $25 fine.
Bridesmaid
Em is my cousin but we are much more like sisters. We always get asked if we are sisters, and if I'm older, neither of which are true! We have so many fun memories together, including wearing hula skirts on family beach trips, pretending we (and the other 3 grandchildren) were Jump5, and baking at Christmastime. Emily has always been there for me, and she is a joy to be around. She is someone I can call on a whim, to talk about something important or just to say hello. She also took our engagement photos, which we love!
Groomsman
Topher is my future brother-in-law, so it's great to have him be a part of this special day.
Bridesmaid
Anna is my sister-in-law who joined our family in June 2018! I am grateful for her friendship, and also that she loves and cares for my brother so well. I have loved getting to grow closer to her over time, and I'm hopeful that her interior design skills will rub off on me as I begin decorating our new home!
Groomsman
Blake and I grew up together in our hometown of Weatherford, OK. I missed his wedding since I was heading to India, but he is going to make it to mine; and he's bringing his wife and kids!
Bridesmaid
Aside from family, Kate has been my longest-lasting friend. We met in third grade when she started at Apex Elementary, and bonded over both taking piano lessons. When she realized that I was one level ahead of her in piano books, though, she tried to catch up by taking lessons with my teacher! In the years following, we played many duets together, had countless sleepovers, went to camp, and played unfathomable amounts of Just Dance. Even after being apart for our college years, we have stayed close and I will also be in Kate's wedding in September!
Groomsman
Jacob and I met in college and bonded over our mutual love of disc golf and burritos.
Bridesmaid
Kayla and I have been close friends since our junior year at UNC, where we both led in our Cru campus ministry and cheered on the Heels on more occasions than we can count. The most memorable basketball game we watched together was UNC-Duke, senior year, second row of the risers, UNC win. Kayla and I are excited to be living in the same city again once Logan and I get married!
Groomsman
Trevor is a fellow Okie, but we met in North Carolina attending the same church. He went from being a friend, to small group leader, to pastor, to groomsmen. The sky's the limit!
Bridesmaid
Kylie and I met at Southeastern orientation when she offered me a place to stay in Wake Forest whenever I needed it. We became "real friends" in August 2018 when Logan and I had just started dating. Kylie was my seminary friend who heard the most about me and Logan, and who encouraged me along the way. The weekend before Logan proposed, Kylie and I were on a SEBTS recruiting trip together in Dallas, and he had told her about the upcoming proposal, but she kept the secret the entire time. Next to Logan, she was the proposal MVP!
Groomsman
Kevin is another hometown buddy that I just can't get rid of. I've enjoyed staying in touch with him over the years and hanging out when I get the chance to visit OK.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I met at church, and she quickly became one of my closest friends in Apex after I returned from Panama in December 2017. Lauren is a friend who will have my back no matter what, and who will be a listening ear at any hour of the day! We love spending time together in whatever way, whether shopping, drinking coffee, or studying. I am thankful for Lauren's persistent friendship!
Groomsman
Ryan and I met while working at Calvary in Winston-Salem. He has been a great friend and encouragement. He is usually the guy preaching at the wedding, so this will be a breeze.
Bridesmaid
Hannah is my "we're the same person" friend who understands me so well. We met at UNC and bonded over our love for Jesus, Panama, and IJM. Hannah visited me while I lived in DC during the summer of 2016, and she is an amazing friend all around. Even throughout her busy law school years, she made a point to stay connected with me. She is the friend I called minutes after Logan first told me he liked me!
