Caroline’s favorite trail! It is a moderate hike to the waterfall, but difficult trail beyond the waterfall to the lake. Tip: take the free bus from Vail transportation center to the trail head to avoid parking tickets

Hike Pitkin Creek Trail

The trail head is located in Lionshead Village near the Eagle Bahn Gondola. This is a gorgeous trail, but it is steep. Not recommended for beginners.
