One of the main attractions of Monterrey is its beer. Here is where famous beers like Dos XX, Tecate, Indio, Sol, Carta Blanca, etc were invented. Tours are offered and there is a beer garden to sample some of their beers.
This is a natural park in the mountains of Sierra Madre, and a great place to go hiking, mount biking and explore with great views of the city. The park is open all year long, 6:00 am to 19:30 hrs. Check out their website for more info.

Cola de Caballo is a waterfall about 40 km from Monterrey, Mexico, in the town of Villa de Santiago, Nuevo León. It is open to the public and is accessible via a walking path. This area has bungee jumping with a great view, zip lining, a church from 1700s and some of the best regional dishes. There are tours that pick you at the hotel and take you there for an entire day of fun! You can book this either Thursday at 11:00 am or Saturday at 11:00 am instead of going to the brunch! This is the most modern stadium in Latin America, home of the Monterrey Soccer Team. It was built in 2015 and offers daily tours, best to book in advance through their website.
