What shoul I wear?

Answer

Steampunk themed costume or whatever is clever. Be aware that the Kansas springtime weather is unpredictable and the site is near the lake so can get chilly after sunset. The most important thing is that you are happy and comfortable!

Yes, at the reception. Feel free to bring your own as well!

Is there an Earth Day festival happening on the day of the wedding at South Park in Lawrence?

Answer

Yes! The city will have their annual Earth Day Parade at 11:00 a.m. down the length of Massachusets St. From 11:00-4:00 there will be an Earth Day Festival occurring on the East side of South Park. Parking may be difficult so please come early and join the festival before the ceremony.

I this a Kid Friendly event?

Answer

Yes, until kids bedtime! There is an adults only section of the campsite we have lovingly named The Hippy Forest. This space will be clearly marked on your site map that you receive at the gate.

Can i bring my dog?

Answer

Yes if your furry friend is well behaved and good at being social with other dogs we welcome them! Please be aware that there will be upwards of 80 children of all ages present at the campsite so the environment will be boisterous and your furry friends will need to be attended closely at all times. Also, even though we are out in the countryside please bring supplies to tidy up your furry friends poops. Thank you so much!

What do the bride and groom want for wedding presents?

We would very much appreciate Menards Gift Cards! We have recently discovered a myriad of "old house" plumbing problems so a gift card from Menards would be greatly cherished.

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

We are registered for gifts on this website, we meant to register elsewhere but have run out of time. We have also run into an unexpected plumbing remodel project so Menards gift cards would be greatly appreciated!

Should I bring my own food?

Answer

Yes, please bring what you need for your own campsite. There will be snacks and dinner after the ceremony and a potluck breakfast on Sunday morning.
