Josh and I met in the same way that a lot of people do, through a mutual friend. However, that mutual friend happened to be the boyfriend that I had at the time, Jacob Branam. To tell you the story of Josh and I, I need to tell you a little about the story of Jacob and I. Jacob and I started dating in the summer of 2014. Within the first month of us dating, I met his two best friends, Nathan and Josh Carmichael. During our relationship, I eventually became really good friends with Nathan, and saw Josh occasionally. Nathan was always at the Branam house which was literally my second home at one time. Fast forward about 2 1/2 years. Jacob and I broke up in February of 2017. I was crushed. I had a hard time getting through just getting out of a relationship that I had been in for such a long time. I was still really close with Nathan and would talk to him about it. One day, Nathan invited me to go to an Indy 11 game with him. I had messaged Josh to tell him that he had missed out because it was a great game. Since that day, we began to casually talk more than we had before. In August of 2017, Nathan's then girlfriend was in town and they had invited Josh to tag along with them to Howl at the Moon that night. Josh, not wanting to be the 3rd wheel, invited me along as well. I met up with them and we had a great time. After a while, we decided to go to O'Reilly's (a staple in our friendship) and play some pool. Josh and I arrive in our separate cars and waited for Nathan and his girlfriend to get there. However, they decided to just go home. Josh and I decided that we were going to stay and have a drink. We ended up talking for hours. That was the moment that I think the both of us started having feelings for each other. On September 3, 2017, at 1:30am in the backyard of my ex boyfriend's house, he asked me to be his girlfriend. On July 23, 2018, in the presence of my sister and her boyfriend at the time, he asked me to be his wife. And the rest is history.
