Guanajuato International Airport (BJX)
Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) is the closest airport. It is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from San Miguel de Allende. We are planning to coordinate transportation to and from the airport since many people will be on the same flights. Please refer back to this closer to the wedding date for more information. If you want to get to San Miguel early or leave later just let us know and we can help you coordinate with a driver! From the U.S. most connections go through Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta. For the folks leaving from San Diego, we recommend that you fly directly from the Tijuana Airport using CBX! HELPFUL TIP: The BJX airport is small, so the gates can get crowded. If you have Priority Pass, there is a separate security line and lounge for you to take advantage of, and is much more pleasant to wait at. If you don't have Priority Pass look into getting it, it comes with most travel credit cards. OTHER HELPFUL TIP: The drive from the airport to San Miguel is totally safe, but it is through the countryside and as such is very very dark. We do recommend to arrive in the daylight.

It is about a 1.5 hour drive from the BJX airport to San Miguel. Don't fret, we are working with a company to coordinate transportation. German will be able to coordinate your arrival times with other guests, and we will also give you a heads up of anyone who may be arriving at the same time as you. While the hotels in San Miguel are gorgeous, the AirBnb's are top notch and very affordable. We've curated a list of some below. If you want to peruse AirBnb's on your own, we would recommend staying near "zona centro." This will ensure you're walking distance of all the festivities and the venue (Casa Hyder).
