Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

Casa Hyder

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

The Airbnb's in town are beautiful and very affordable. We recommend Airbnb's in "Zona Centro" so you can be close to the wedding venue and such.

Question

Is it safe?

Answer

Yes! San Miguel is extremely safe, especially in the historic centro, where most of the festivities will be. As always use common sense (for example, no need to bring your flashy jewelry) but San Miguel is one of the safest cities in Mexico and we never felt unsafe when there.

Question

How do I get to San Miguel from the airport?

Answer

It is about a 1.5 hour drive from the BJX airport to San Miguel. Don't fret, we are working with a company to coordinate transportation. All you will need to do is email or text them your flight information. Their contact information is as follows: Germán Cardona email: tutransportesma@gmail.com text: 415-144-24-36 What'sApp: +52 415 103 5467 While you are more than welcome to have a car to yourself, we would encourage you to share a car with other guests who may be arriving at the same time to save some money! Prices are as follows (approximately $156 dollars each way) : QRO to SMA – Up to 6 people $3200 mxn pesos BJX to SMA – Up to 6 people $3200 mxn pesos QRO to SMA – Up to 8 people $3700 mxn pesos BJX to SMA – Up to 8 people $3700 mxn pesos QRO to SMA – Up to 12 people $4200 mxn pesos BJX to SMA – Up to 12 people $4200 mxn pesos QRO to SMA - Up to 3 guests $2000 mxn pesos BJX to SMA - Up to 3 guests $2000 mxn pesos They accept U.S. dollars or Mexican pesos. Please plan on having cash beforehand, as you will need to pay at the end of each leg of your trip.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Something along the lines of "funky cocktail attire". Basically we want you to dress up, have fun with it, and wear an outfit that feels like you! We are fully planning on embracing the colors and vibrancy of the region. Wear something that makes you feel like the star that you are! You're gonna look gorgeous darlings. Question

What about shoes?

Answer

San Miguel is very walkable, but it is hilly and the cobblestones streets are VERY uneven. If you were planning on wearing stilettos, we would say "wow, that's very brave of you!" But seriously, bring other shoes that are easy to walk in on the cobblestone streets, and of course comfy to dance in!

Question

What is the weather in San Miguel?

Answer

Weather in April in San Miguel is really great, with highs in the high-70s and lows in the mid-50s. After dark it will be much more temperate than you think when you think "wedding in Mexico". Plan accordingly!

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Plan on arriving at 5 p.m. at Casa Hyder! We will be dancing the night away until midnight.
