The Bench
Casual & upscale; great for relaxing around a fire in the morning or evening fog. Watch people finish a golf game at famous Pebble Beach. Enter at the Bldg named LODGE, make your way downstairs.
17 Mile Drive
Great drive along the coast, multiple stops to hear, smell and see the ocean. There is a fee to enter park. (Fee is waived if you eat at a Pebble Beach restaurant).
Carmel Beach
White sands, 7min walk from Portabella restaurant. Limited parking at beach. LOTS of dogs around.
Carmel Mission Basilica Museum
California's 2nd oldest Mission, and our favorite place to attend mass. Amazing chorus, priests give wonderful spiritual mass. Do not leave without stopping by their store.
Monterey Bay Aquarium
What's not to like about aquatic life?! Plenty to eat at Cannery Row where the Aquarium is located, and a nice walk way past it. You can walk or rent a bike along the shore.
Dust Bowl Brewing Co. Tap Depot
If you like beer and delicious food trucks, say no more. Make this a must try at The Monterey Wharf before leaving the area. Food wont disappoint.
Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
If you like to hike, want amazing views, and enjoy turquoise waters... this place is for you! Get here early as parking books FAST and you may end up parking on the side of Hwy 1.
