FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence with us in New Orleans means the most, but if you wish to contribute a gift, please see our Registry page for more info.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you will be attending by September 1st. See RSVP page of our website to respond. The only event that requires an RSVP is the wedding!

Question

Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have group rates available at both The Barnett (f/k/a Ace Hotel New Orleans) and The Pontchartrain Hotel. Our room block at Hotel Saint Vincent has been filled at this time. See Travel page for more info and rates.

Question

Is there anything happening on Friday night?

Answer

Yes! Friday night, we'll be gathering upstairs at Anna's in the Marigny from 8 'til 10pm following dinner with our families. If you are in the area, we’d love for you to stop by & join us. RSVP is not necessary, just stop by if you can! We recommend having dinner beforehand, but food is available for purchase at Anna’s. This will be a cash bar.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to Hotel Saint Vincent by 5 PM sharp on Saturday!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

First & foremost, we want all of our guests to be comfortable! We encourage you to dress to impress. Cocktail attire is great, and so is semi-formal — dress as fancy as you’d like! The sidewalks & streets are a bit uneven, so we advise against super high heels / stilettos. The wedding activities will take place both indoor & outdoor, so guests who may get chilly during the evening, we encourage you to check the daily temps and bring a light jacket/sweater or pashmina if you foresee needing.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding venue?

Answer

Since guests are spread between a few different hotels, we will not have transportation provided from hotels to the wedding venue. Uber, Lyft & local taxis are all available, and we encourage you to carpool with other guests from your respective hotels. If you are staying along the St. Charles Streetcar line, another option is to take the streetcar to the Felicity Street stop -- Hotel Saint Vincent is about a ten-minute walk from the stop.

Question

Did I hear something about a parade? Do I need to bring anything?

Answer

Following the ceremony end, we will be greeted by the Kinfolk Brass Band who will lead us on a celebratory second line parade around the neighborhood. Grab a to-go drink and join in! For guests who would like to join but are concerned about the walk, we will have a few pedicabs available to ride alongside the walking parade. You don't need to bring anything, but be mindful of the footwear you choose for the evening!

Question

What are we doing after the wedding?!

Answer

After the reception end, for anyone who'd like to continue celebrating, we will head to Chickie Wah Wah. Bus transportation from the wedding will be provided. Pickup around 10:15/10:30pm in the Hotel Saint Vincent parking lot — just queue up & hop on! Note this will be cash bar.

Question

What about Sunday?

Answer

We are not hosting any events on Sunday, but if you are staying through the weekend: remember that you're in New Orleans! Go see the city: eat a fabulous meal, walk along the Mississippi River, visit the French Quarter. The list (and menu!) is endless.

For all the days along the way
