Question
What is the dress code?
Answer
The attire for our wedding is formal. We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! This means suits (jacket and tie) & floor length or midi-length gowns.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
It is very important to us that all guests arrive before the ceremony begins. Guests may start arriving at 3:30 pm. Please ensure you arrive no later than 3:45 pm. The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm.

Does the venue have parking?
Answer
Yes! The Upchurch venue does have parking for ~75 cars. Please Uber or Lyft if you plan on drinking heavily! We want our guests to be safe - you can leave your car at The Upchurch but must pick up before Monday, June 9th at 10am. For the Welcome Event: MacGregor Downs has plenty of parking. If you are staying in the hotel block, there will be a complimentary shuttle ONLY FOR THE WELCOME EVENT. For those booked in the hotel block, you will receive a message soon regarding shuttle timing.

what's the weather like?
Answer
Raleigh can get hot in June! The average high is 86°F while the average low is 66°F. Our ceremony will be outside on grass (weather-permitting), followed by an indoor reception, so plan accordingly!

Can I Bring My Children?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only event, with an exception for children of family. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Due to space limitations, we can only allow the people named on your invitation to celebrate with us. If you are getting a plus one/guest/date, your invitation will say "Your Name and Partner's Name"

I have a ton of allergies! What food is being served?
Answer
We are having a mostly gluten free wedding and are crafting up a delicious menu! We will make sure you are accommodated based on how you filled out your RSVP!
