The Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) is about 30 minutes from the venue & is well worth the trip! You can grab a local brew and relax by the river or, if you're feeling adventurous, sign up to take a Whitewater rafting trip down the river. We highly recommend booking through Carolina Outfitters, and we will list that separately.
We go whitewater rafting 1-2 times a season, and when we do we always book through Carolina Outfitters. They provide guided and non-guided tours (which are more fun) We are considering doing a group trip down the river on Friday morning & we will provide more details closer to the date. Fun fact: Parker was our guide one time and we successfully made it down the river without anyone falling in (which is rare feat for Carly)
