A beautiful costal walk along the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, offering stunning views of Newport’s historic mansions. It is free and accessible daily, from sunrise to sunset. Metered street parking is available at Memorial Boulevard at Easton's Beach or Narragansett Avenue at Forty Steps. We recommend parking your car at Narragansett Avenue and starting there.
One of Newport’s most famous attractions is its collection of Gilded Age mansions. Many of these historic homes are open to visitors. Popular mansions to visit include The Breakers, Marble House, Rosecliff, and the Elms.
Located on the grounds of the Marble House overlooking the ocean, the Tea House is a great place to stop for tea. Admission to Marble House is required to visit the Tea House, and reservations are recommended if you would like to have tea.
